Family Friendly Neighbourhood in Convenient NW Location

Citadel was one of the first NW communities to adopt a Home Owner Association (HOA) fee but with this came the ability to maintain the pristine flower gardens, attractive rustic brick walls and immaculate parks throughout the area. The active community association holds events throughout the year including the well attended annual Stampede breakfast.

The community of Morningside is considered the estate area of Citadel. Homes here may back onto a natural ravine or the Hamptons Golf Course. 

What makes Citadel equally attractive is the easy access to downtown, the Rocky Mountains or any other part of the city due to its close proximity to Stoney Trail. Within minutes you have the ability to shop or dine at Beacon Hill where anchors such as Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot and Canadian Tire are located or at Country Hills Superstore and other smaller retail locations including a Starbucks and several restaurants. Do you need a dentist, a medical clinic, a chiropractic adjustment or massage, a veterinarian, insurance and an optometrist? These services are also close by. 

Family activities abound can be found just down the hill at Crowfoot YMCA, Crowfoot Arena and Crowfoot Library. 

There are two schools in the neighbourhood, Citadel Park Elementary (K-4) built in 2006 with large playing fields and a playground and St. Brigid School (K-9).
